Broadway Cotswold jpeg Broadway is a small village in Cotswolds that is located in Worcestershire, England. You may have heard it referred to as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds' however. Why is this you may be wondering? Well you must go to Broadway and discover the magic for yourself! The 'broad way' is the main street, centered around The Green, which has a line of red chestnut trees and Cotswold limestone buildings the shade of honey, which go as far back as the 16th century. Broadway Cotswold is home of the horse racing championships within the region and is always busy during this time, you will also find it is a big tourist attraction due to the villages reputable hotels, restaurants, shops, art galleries, pubs, museums, tea rooms and much more! In Broadway Cotswold you will find a recently build museum which is located in the original grade II listed workshop so you can discover and find out much about the history of this fascinating town and district. Another must do when you visit Broad way is take time out to Visit the Fleece Inn Which is a 15th Century Inn at the nearby village of Bretforton and the only pub to be owned by the National Trust. There are several well known gardens that you must check out also¬! For amazing sights and some up close and personal time with some of your favorite flowers this is a must. There are several famous gardens within 15 minutes car journey of Broadway including Hidcote Manor, Snowshill Manor, Bourton House, Sezincote, Hidcote Manor, Kiftsgate Court and Batdford Arboretum. . If you are spending a weekend away with your boyfriend, girlfriend or husband or wife then the perfect thing for you to do is go on the Romantic Road which is a romantic road route from Broadway, a must do for all of you lovers out there! If you are thinking about choosing Broadway Cotswold and if this article has sparked your interest in the town then here is a bit more information on travel: you will find that it is a central place and therefore will be very easy to get to. You can either travel by Air, train or ferry. You can fly in to London Heathrow or Gatwick airport which means you are 2 hours away by car. You can also get the Euro star train from Amsterdam, Brussels or Paris links London's Waterloo International Station and the journey will only take 3 hours.
