Background

Europe Travel from England / London - Whether you stay in England or have come to England for a visit, it’s a good base to explore Europe. There are many ways you can travel and it can be very cheap.

In 1997 I travelled from London to Paris by Eurostar at £99, In 2001 by Eurostar again at £69 and in 2003 by a no frill airline at £40.

Besides train and air, you can travel to the continent by ferry or by bus as well.
Here I have listed few itineraries for Europe travel (short visits) which you can do. These are from my own travelling experience and reading. (disclaimer)
You can either do all planning yourself (see travel planning tips) or do a package travel / tour. You can choose and buy Eurail Passes here.
