Evesham is a market town located in Worcestershire in England. It used to be where the major English market of gardening was until it was build over in to the Evesham that we know it is today. You will also discover that it is right in the centre of the 'fruit and vegetable basket in England' so will offer you some of the finest, freshest greens in the businesses.
As you walk across Evesham you will see some of the most tranquil banks of the river Avon and set your eyes upon the rolling hills and peaceful wooded slopes of the Cotswolds which his very near to Evesham itself. You will see that some of the most beautiful countryside in the whole of England and you are guaranteed breathtaking sceneries that you will not come across anywhere else so is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful, picturesque get away or holiday. There is so much to do in this town, as mentioned earlier, since the medieval times a thing that the region has been known for is its ability to grow the finest vegetables but another very big attraction is the River Avon where you can do a variety of water sports from Fishing to boating. The Abbey Park is another great attraction with its Victorian bandstand that presents you with top quality music on Sunday afternoons from June to September, where you can sit back and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of a lazy sunny afternoon!
You will also get a taste of the towns traditional culture with the Bell Tower which is a must see if you visit Evesham. The Bell Tower is one of the remaining buildings from when Henry VIII was alive and was build at the time of 1540! Therefore is a must see for all those who visit and want to get a better grasp of Evesham's culture.
If you are feeling a bit devious about how to get there and what the travel is like then you have no need to worry as it really couldn't get any easier! Evesham is easy to reach from Europe with ferry services via Hull, Felixstowe, Harwich, Holyhead and Pembroke.
