| Haunted Castle England Some old castles have been crowned as haunted castles in England. Thus people all across the world are fascinated with these castles. However the castles have rich culture and history. These castles also consist some of the essences of a golden era of Queen Elizabeth I. Sometimes you can owe to folk tales and sometimes call it as rumor that have declared some of these castles as haunted! These places are one of the tourist attraction spots in England. Anyone at any age can visit these castles. During the medieval period these castles were very popular as haunted mansions. There are more than twenty five haunted castles in England. Now that is a quite a number. Some of the most popular haunted castles are Arundel Castle, Chillingham Castle, Raby Castle, Windsor Castle, Warwick Castle, Berry Pomeroy Castle, The Tower of London and many more. It is said that these have special features. It is surrounded by spooky features in addition to their exuding beauty. For example the Chillingham Castle is said to be one of the haunted castles. It is located in the Northumberland County in England. It was owned by "Grey family of Wark". It was owned by them during the thirteenth century. It consists of a real torture chamber! That is something really eerie and you can bet on it. It is absolutely like one of the chambers during the medieval times. It also has real devices for torturing. You will also witness one dungeon in the castle. Even people say that it gives the proper feel and spooky atmosphere. The castle also has old carvings and old conventional figures on cards. People have also seen ghosts. Some people have also named them. A "Radiant Boy" or "Blue Boy" has been seen in the castle. People have also heard a child cry with lot of pain in his voice. In 1920s, when an adjoining wall of a passage of the castle was broken down for reconstruction, a young boy's bones were found in a blue dress. Thus, all haunted castle England have some or the other stories for real through all ages.
