| Hedingham Castle Hedingham Castle is a place in England in Essex. Around the year 1080, it was considered as one of the largest manors. It has a stone storing area. It was built before the Elizabethan Era. But with the following years, as time passed the castle has gone through many restorations. The manor had a chance to develop more during the Elizabethan period. In the entire English history, this golden period is accepted as the flourishing era during the reign of Queen Elizabeth. This era has flourished tremendously during her reign. Music, poetry and literature were given a lot of attention during this period. William Shakespeare also added to it. Thus, people around the world are in awe of England. It has a great history and rich culture. This castle reflects the time back with its beautiful features and spellbound carvings on the walls. It has high ceilings and beautiful arches carved open ways and doorways. As soon as you enter the Hedingham Castle, you will notice these arches. It will be a worth time traveling to the medieval era in England. It is a castle with quite a surrounding. It is an hour away from London. You will see that there is an old bridge, a lake and the most excellent and small gables in and around the castle. Beautiful and amazing garden which looks fresh throughout the day can be seen. But a lot of history in treachery, warfare and lust is found beneath the garden. The hallways, doorways, banquet halls, terrace and the entire castle is a witness of Europe and English designing. Now days, people hold various events, weddings and ceremonies in the manor. Today it has evolved as a major tourist spot. The castle is well maintained and has amazing decorations. From the top of the castle, beautiful scenery can be seen with lots of greenery and high and small trees and bushes. It is a total worth a place to spend a day with family and friends. Thus, this Hedingham Castle is nine hundred years old but still stands strong and firm with loads of history and secrets inside it.
