| PYO Pick Your Own Vegetables
Pick Your Own Vegetables (PYO) is a day out activity where you visit a farm, pick your own vegetables from there, pay for it, and go home to cook it!
You typically get a wheely bin, something to pick up the root vegetables like carrots, basket to pick up strawberries, blueberries, runner beans and other veg.
The farms are all over England, and are managed by independent farmers who advertise in local newspapers. Some even have a website.
It's a great day our for adults and mainly for children who can go wild in the farm! Some of the farms also have the farm animals which the children will enjoy the most.
