Sir John Soane’s Museum in London: Another famous museum in London is the Sir John Soane’s Museum. It is a museum for the study of architecture. The museum was prior to its conversion was the dwelling house and studio of Sir John Saone and is located in the district of Holborn, Central London.

The Soane museum is a non-departmental public body and is sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media, and Sport. The museum was established by the virtue of a private Act of Parliament, 1833. However, it was in 1837 that the act was enforced.

The famous spaces in this museum are at the rear. The museum also has six living rooms in Nos. 12 and 13. The Breakfast room of the museum has a domed ceiling, inset with convex mirrors. The design of the museum library is inspired from the Gothic design.
